Peloton n.
The peloton (from French, literally meaning ball and related to the English word platoon), field, bunch or pack is the large main group in a road bicycle race.
If you are tracking Tour de France, then you have probably heard Peloton being used a lot. If you haven’t quiet figured out Tour de France, then this explanation on BBC will clear things up.
