If you are an Apple fanboy, and have been regularly buying Apple products since 2004, but never invested in Apple, then this is probably what you missed out on:
Aug 06th, 2004: Bought 1000 stocks of Apple at $14.89 per stock

Feb 25th, 2006: Apple announces a two-for-one split. You now have 2000 stocks of Apple at $44.5

So if you had done some simple investing in Apple; in less than three years, you would have made ~$343,988, an astounding 2310% gain! from an initial invest of $14,890. So, next time you buy an Apple product, think about maybe investing in Apple too.
Update May 30, 2007: Since this article was written apple stock has gone up 11.53%, closing today at $118.49. With release of the iPhone around the corner, get ready for the ride!
