9rules Rejects

Having not made the Round 4 9Rules cut, I am curious about the other 588 blogs that did not make the cut. So if you are one that did not make it, post a link to your blog, and I will add you to the 9Rules Rejects List, American Idol style…hehehehe!
Congratulations! to the 111 that made it, and I am looking forward to checking out your blogs.

Hey, there’s no such thing as bad publicity… I’m just a little curious how you got my website for the rejected list? :p

I wasn’t accepted into 9rules. Maybe next time when my site becomes more focused. Thanks for providing a list to all the other sites
Cheers!

I think they should publish a “close-but-no-cigar” list for those who were close to getting in, but after some final thought, were not accepted.

Max, I got some of the links by digging around in the comments.
Jessica, I have added your blog to the list.

You can add mine if you like. I get most of my readers linking from other sites so it can’t hurt! My site is very focused on my personal travel. The only downsides I can think of is that it’s too focused or perhaps I don’t have as much discussion in my comments as say, a tech blog. Personally, I don’t think a good blog needs to be updated every day. In fact, it’s hard to create quality content at that frequency.

[...] As soon as I have the time to improve my site exponentially (ok, maybe not sooo much, but better!), every day. *cough* By the end of this week, I hope. Meanwhile, why don’t you take a look at the 9rules rejects list, where I am proudly listed with a little RSS feed icon next to my name. Hey, there’s no such thing as bad publicity, right? [...]

Cute idea. I didn’t get in either so you can add me to that list

Haha, glad to be on this list.

I did not get in either. Such is life.

Why didn’t PooStreaks get in? Hmm. Too wide a range of subject matter (or ‘not focused enough’). Too totally daft for words sometimes. And possibly because we are the sole member of 99 rules, which we created ourselves and which may go on to be the only blog network for bloggers who like chocolate flakes in their ice creams. Basically, 9rules just wouldn’t be able to handle all the competition

I didn’t make it, you can add my domain:jackosh.com.
Rock on.

Hi, I think you’ve got me down already. I wasn’t at all surprised as I’ve only been blogging two months and the fact I talk about the way life and literature interacts means I talk about lots of different things from blogging itself to book reviews and topics that interest me. Tomorrow I’m going to talk about vampires, for instance. So, no tight focus then! Still it was fun to try and there’s always next time.

Kristin, I thought you were going to make it! I didn’t make it and hope I don’t sound like sour grapes here, but there are some blogs that I thought shouldn’t have made it. There are, of course, some other great blogs like Open Switch and Delicious Days that I read and welcome wholeheartedly their inclusion into 9rules.

It may be true that The Blogging Times was not accepted into 9rules for its round 4 BUT I do not in any way feel rejected. I was ready from the onset that it may or may not be accepted.
Thanks.

I am currently at JFK waiting for a flight to Dubai. I will be back on the 19th. So I might be a little slow in adding your blogs to the list.
